J.F.S. Radio is an independent online station for listeners who want more from their music than background noise. We stream a warm, considered mix of Jazz, Funk, and Soul around the clock.

J.F.S. is run by Sean Blackmore, known on air as DJ Smooth. After around three decades spent immersed in Smooth Jazz, Jazz Funk, Funk, Soul, R&B, and Philly Soul, the station’s sound comes from lived listening rather than a formula.
That means the biggest tracks have a place, but they are never the whole story. We look for the overlooked album cut, the forgotten release, the new artist who understands the tradition, and the groove that deserves a second spin.
